This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global knowledge exchange. Articles published in Journal of Indigenous Islamic Education will be Open-Access articles distributed under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution License.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under an Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0). That allows others to share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material.
